Bollywood actor Ajaz Khan has sparked a fresh controversy after publicly slamming Prithvi Shaw's fiancée and actress Akriti Agarwal for missing the promotional event of her upcoming music video, Bareilly Wala Jhumka. The actor expressed his anger in front of the media and questioned the social media influencer’s professionalism while indirectly targeting Prithvi Shaw.
Akriti has recently been in the news because of her relationship with the Indian cricketer. The couple reportedly called off their engagement in September 2026 before getting back together this week. Ajaz Khan slams Prithvi Shaw’s fiancée Akriti Agarwal over missing music video promotions
Ajaz Khan has publicly expressed his frustration over Akriti Agarwal's absence from the promotional activities for the Bareilly Wala Jhumka, released under the HMR Harshmusic Records label and featuring Aniket Raj alongside Prithvi Shaw's fiancée.
The Bollywood actor alleged that she had taken money and received five-star treatment but failed to support the project during its promotion. He also claimed that Akriti skipped the event because of her relationship with the Indian batter Shaw.
Ajaz stressed that personal relationships should not come in the way of professional commitments, especially when other people have invested their time and money in a project. He further alleged that Akriti even removed that video from her social media handles.
Ajaz Khan was quoted as saying by Manoranjan Katta, "I want to give a message to the girls who take money, get five-star treatment, beg for work, and then, when they find a boyfriend, don't come for promotions, and delete the video that was posted. Akriti Agarwal, the heroine, didn't come for promotions because of her boyfriend. I want to strictly tell such girls, 'Why did you spoil somebody's life and first song? 'If you have a boyfriend, keep it home. Be professional and give importance to your work.”

Meanwhile, Prithvi Shaw and Akriti Agarwal have decided to give another chance to their relationship after calling off their engagement a few weeks ago.
Akriti had earlier explained on social media that people close to her had influenced her decision to end the relationship.
Prithvi Shaw shines as captain as Maharashtra crush Bengal by 127 runs in Ranji Trophy 2026-27
Speaking about the professional front, Shaw has been busy with domestic cricket. He recently led Maharashtra in their opening match of the Ranji Trophy 2026-27 season in the absence of Ruturaj Gaikwad. Shaw led Maharashtra to an impressive 127-run victory over Services in Delhi.
Maharashtra had scored 333 for 8 in their first innings after opting to bat first. Ankit Bawne was the show stealer with a well-compiled 118 off 248 balls, while Shaw also chipped in with a brilliant 70 off 73 deliveries. Services then managed 227 runs, with Hitesh Walunj taking five wickets.
Shaw could score only seven runs in Maharashtra's second innings. However, Bawne added 48 runs off 117 balls, while Rajvardhan Hangargekar scored 43 off 49 deliveries to help Maharashtra set Services a target of 248 runs.
Vicky Ostwal then delivered a brilliant bowling performance in the fourth innings, taking five wickets as Services were bowled out for just 120. Maharashtra defeated Bengal by 127 runs and will now face Jharkhand on Sunday, October 18, in the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2026-27 season.
